Private Acting Coaching & Group Scene Study
Presence-based theatre rooted in time, space, and disciplined collaboration.
Theatre on Main offers acting training shaped by a deep study of space, stillness, and composition, informed by years of collaboration with visionary director Robert Wilson and grounded in The Viewpoints technique, our work invites actors to engage the stage as a living architecture—where placement, timing, and attention create meaning.
Through private coaching and small group scene study (maximum 8 students), actors at all levels develop text, character, and performance within a focused, supportive environment—strengthening both technique and individuality.

Our Approach
physical experimentation and classical focus.
We draw from The Viewpoints technique to support and deepen Robert Wilson’s approach to theater, integrating principles of spatial awareness, physical precision, tempo, and stillness alongside traditional text analysis and scene work. Attention is given to how the actor inhabits space, listens, and allows meaning to emerge through restraint as much as action.
Training emphasizes the actor’s physical relationship to space, time, and stillness, allowing meaning to emerge through precision, structure, and restraint.
